Corythaixoides concolor
This is a southern African bird of uniform grey with a black beak. It has a distinctive call "quare", which sounds like "Go-away" - hence the name. Its diet is mainly fruit (such as wild figs and berries), flowers, buds, leaves, termites, and snails.
Is widespread in savanna, woodlands, parks, farms and in the suburbs. Likes being near water.
