Natural den

.

Description:

This natural split in the tall, ruined stump of a tree has been home to an animal, probably a raccoon, possibly an opossum. The hole is 5-6 feet up. The floor of the den appears to be covered in nesting materials, but there is no sign of recent occupation. Photos 2-3 show the outside of the trunk.
