Urginea pancration
The tall stalks of the urginea pancration do not appear impressive, but close examination will reveal exquisite, wax-like flowers which are both delicate and hardy. This plant flowers profusely from mid-September to early October.
Found in a variety of environments, most notably garrigue.
Maltese name: Basla ta' l-Ghansar
