red fox

Vulpes Vulpes

Notes:

This is our backyard red fox. We have several persimmon trees in our backyard and this lovely fox comes to eat the fruit from time to time. Plus, if the persimmons are not available, we put fruit out for him. Our wooded area is small with all the surrounding housing developments being established. So, his range is not a large one. He will sit and watch us (like in the picture) from time to time when we are out on the porch. He is so cute.
