Sandhill cranes

Grus canadensis

Notes:

These cranes were hit by golf balls. Because their legs are so thin, they break when hit. These cranes have prosthetics that allow them to walk comfortably. Their bandages are changed every 2 weeks to keep the wrappings clean and fresh.
