Seashore Springtail

Anurida maritima

I was quite excited to see this Arthropod aggregation.

Found in a saltwater crevice of an intertidal rock.

Lifer! Could someone please verify the ID for me? I can't see anywhere that they can live in saltwater, but it appears to be the only personality.

Thank you so much for the correction and explanation, Agustín! Best of luck finding the ID of the ones you found, let me know if there is any way I can help. :-)

Searching the order of the springtails I found these Anurida maritima that live on saltwater.
But no lukc finding the ones I found, which are red-ish.

Nice that you have found the ID. I think I have seen these before somewhere and I also wondered what were they :-)
