Seashore Springtail

Anurida maritima

Description:

I was quite excited to see this Arthropod aggregation.

Habitat:

Found in a saltwater crevice of an intertidal rock.

Notes:

Lifer! Could someone please verify the ID for me? I can't see anywhere that they can live in saltwater, but it appears to be the only personality.

Nice that you have found the ID. I think I have seen these before somewhere and I also wondered what were they :-)
