A global citizen science platform to discover, share and identify wildlife
Hello Hernandez.Jason, I hope this mail finds you well. I have updated your spotting to include the full name, the latin name, and a reference link to Wikipedia. It is occasionally onerous to add all that info while on a smart phone through the app. Us rangers (we are 100% volunteering our time) are committed to making sure all the fields in each spotting are filled out as completely as possible. There are many scientists and biologists gleaning information from our collective spottings and using the information in studies. For that reason it is paramount that we do our best to have each spotting complete. You never know, your next spotting might reflect a species in a zone never documented by anyone but you! Thank you and happy spotting.
This is listed as unidentified. Since you know the ID, please go ahead and enter the scientific name (and other information about the spotting) so this one can fully enter the system. Also, you mention Yellowstone but the map says Kansas. Please clarify. Thanks!!
