Description:

Medium-sized shaggy mushrooms with sunken-in caps. I couldn't tell if the caps were moist or not because of the shaggy caps.

Habitat:

Rotting fallen tree at Spring Hammock Preserve

Could be, it does grow in Florida. It could also just be the same genus and I can't tell the difference because there are a lot of species of Lentinus
