Wet tropical forests in Central America and South America. This was found where there is a predominance of coffee plantations and very little original vegetation preserved.
This species is well known but I have to post it because it is my favorite! I will not risk a more precise identification for her because as far as I know, I think there are a few subspecies of it. Perhaps this is Diaethria anna. Best hear from experts. ;)
