Spotted House Gecko

Gekko monarchus

Description:

'This medium-sized gecko is easily identified by the pairs of black spots along its ventral surface, and by the black 'W' at the back of the neck. This nocturnal species occurs in primary lowland rainforests, sometimes venturing to the walls of buildings adjacent to the forest.'

Habitat:

tropical rainforest

Notes:

This gecko hung out on the back steps of my room in Bogani Nani Wartabone national park. He would be there most of the time.
