Pomarine Jaeger

Stercorarius pomarinus

Description:

Seen in the distance, but I determined Pomarine rather than Parasitic Jaeger because the tail feathers looked more spoon-shaped and twisted.

Habitat:

Open ocean a few miles from shore between Kodiak and Afognak Islands
