Grattis till dagens spotting Magnus! Det är en stor ära med tanke på hur många bilder som laddas upp varje dag! Vi är inte så många Svenskar här ännu så jag vill verkligen hälsa dig välkommen till gemenskapen :) MVH Tina
Welcome to the community Magnus & congratulations, your great portrait of this iconic emblem of the Galapagos has been chosen spotting of the day!
With a life span in the wild of well over 100 years, the Galapagos tortoise is one of the world’s longest-lived animals. In fact, it is possible that there may even be a few surviving that were born during Charles Darwin’s lifetime!
Magnus, your daughter is welcome to join the community as a regular user - the student accounts are those created by participating teachers, usually for younger students. If you would like further info please email me karen@projectnoah.org
We visited these guys in January at a reserv just beside the main road on Santa Cruz on they way to the Baltra Ferry terminal. Question, I have a daughter just started studying Marine Biology at upper secondary school. During their studies they need 2-3 weeks practise. Do you at the received students at this level? She's now 16.
