Welcome to the community Magnus & congratulations, your great portrait of this iconic emblem of the Galapagos has been chosen spotting of the day!

With a life span in the wild of well over 100 years, the Galapagos tortoise is one of the world’s longest-lived animals. In fact, it is possible that there may even be a few surviving that were born during Charles Darwin’s lifetime!

We visited these guys in January at a reserv just beside the main road on Santa Cruz on they way to the Baltra Ferry terminal.
Question, I have a daughter just started studying Marine Biology at upper secondary school. During their studies they need 2-3 weeks practise. Do you at the received students at this level? She's now 16.
