As mall to medium spider(20mm long body) with a distinctive pale stripe on very dark brown-black running over the whole animal from head to tail. Robust but pointed legs.
On a wall near strong night lights at the local school.
This spider may well have been interested in all the insect activity at the lights as a very warm evening had seen hundreds drawn in. Yet to search for this one....
