Description:

These large, exotic birds can grow up to 8 lbs/ 3.65 kilos. Unfortunately, poaching of hornbills has recently been on the increase, as they are targeted for their beaks used in Chinese medicine.

Notes:

This is a female, as evidenced by its blue pouch. Males have yellow pouches.
