Ichneumon wasp

Description:

This wasp was resting on a porch light, at close to midnight. There are at least 690 described species in Mesochorus. This wasp was very small, only about 1 mm, and was fully orange, with a pinch of black near the eyes.

Habitat:

In my garden, Fort Worth, Texas.
