Mimaglossa nauplialis
This attractive smallish highly patterned moth revealed clean white hind wings for a moment before scurrying to hid in leaf litter. About 20mm long. Patterns from above were formed in black and pink-orange.
Resting outside the local school (probably after a late night partying around the strong lights)
Also Macalla nauplialis... Acrobasis subcultella... Found in all the eastern states of Australia.
