Description:

Growing from a dead log and positioned underneath. This pale mushroom has decurrent teeth rather than gills and a flat cap.

Habitat:

Growing from fallen wood.

That looks good Tiz. They get way more irregular but then mine is still very tiny.

I found something that perhaps can be useful when searching for an ID. Wood hedgehog (hydnum repandum). I do not know it it has been found growing on dead wood... here is a link to start with http://fungimap.org.au/index.php/fduonli...
