Fun fact! Jackass penguins are named for the loud braying calls they use to communicate with each other, said to sound like a donkey’s. This is not a species you will see on snow and ice, as it is native to the coasts of South Africa.

That's sad, there are plenty of them at Boulders beach on your way to cape point

I never saw these beautiful penguins when I was in Cape Town. Such a pity. An excellent spotting, Sanchayan.
