GREAT EGRET

Ardea alba

Description:

Great egret was having a successful afternoon fishing in the Shark River, and seems to have added a seaweed scarf to the look.

Habitat:

Most often spotted along the river bank during low tide. During high tide they seem to prefer perching in the trees along the river.
