Slug Moth caterpillar

Description:

This small caterpillar is about 2-3cm long and has spines growing all over its body. I found it (with several others) under the leaves of a siniguelas tree (Spondias purpurea).

Thanks, MayraSpringmann. I think it's a lovely caterpillar, too. Looks a little prickly, though. :)

Thank you, Leana. I will certainly add the info you gave. :)

This is a Slug Moth caterpillar deanoso. Unfortunately I don't know the exact species. You may include this spotting in the mission "Moths in the Philippines", at http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/1591... . Thanks!
