I don't have other photos of this exact one, but i often see them hang in the trees on PKU Campus. I'll bring my camera one of the days and get some better shots. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. It's is at least better than what I've could have come up with :)
Nephila sp., the large on is the female and you have also the much smaller male on the picture! Cool spotting! Do you have another picture from the other side?
It could be Nephila pilipes, which is quite common in your area and East Asia. However, the markings on the legs are not 100% perfect for that one. In addition, IDs for Nephila sp. are easy for the genus, but species are often mis-IDed.
