Description:

Large katydid of around 10-12cm from head to the wing tips. Cryptic mottled colouration in greens and greys, making for superb camouflage among the mosses and lichens that grow on tree trunks in the rainforest. Found resting during the day.

Habitat:

Tropical rainforest in the Ecuadorian Amazon region near Tena.
