Description:

A smal carniverous bird, the Red-backed Shrike is a summer breder Europe and Asia and winters in Tropical Africa. It is a common Vagrant to the UK where it used to breed.

Habitat:

Short Scrubland adjacent to marshland.

Notes:

A Young Juvenile. Very tame. An Autumn vagrent to UK.
