Pennsylvania Smartweed

Polygonum pensylvanicum

Tiny pink flowers right by a small stream.

This plant was found growing on the bank of a small stream.

The nodes were definitely not hairy, thus making this most likely Pennsylvania Smartweed as opposed to The Tufted Knotweed.
