Batfish

Ephippidae

Description:

Three adult Batfish, black bands yellowish tail, yellow ends on fins. Flat spade shaped, hence3 also called Spadefish.

Habitat:

Celebes sea, Divesite Barracuda Point, Sipadan, Sabah, Malaysia. Depth 17 meer, temp 30Celcius.

Notes:

This three Bat fish were eating the sponge. They swam around in circles and each took a bite when they were at the open spot. Very sharing of them :-)
