Spotted on the Baden Powel / Hollyburn Mountain Trail, Cypress Provincial Park. Could these be (1) Amanita muscaria var. Formosa, or (2) Amanita pantherinoides, Panther Cap?

Could be either one--they both vary quite a bit. I guess I'd wait and see how they mature. A. muscaria is pretty distinctively bright red to yellow. The amount of brown in these at this point makes me think of pantherina.
