Description:

Spotted this majestic bird on the way from Verinag to Jammu, just few hours after the jawahar tunnel. There was a decaying cow lying on the side of the ghats which attracted these vultures, around 10 -15 of them.

Congratulations! Spotting of the Day on your very first post, way to go. I watch a group of black vultures where I live. There is much to be admired in vultures ... I'm a huge fan and it's very cool to see vultures from other parts of the world.
