Cranefly carrying Pseudoscorpion

Epiphragma fasciapenne

Habitat:

Wall of a house.

Notes:

The Pseudoscorpion is attached to the base of a hinde leg! This is phoresy, or hitch hiking, invertebrates move around this way intentionally. The cranefly is not negatively affected by this species as far as i know. In symbiotic terms this relationship would be scored as +/0 or one gains and the other is not effected (other than the extra energy of ferrying around the traveler!)
