Thank you for the help everyone. dferris1, I do think this is the Cardinal and they are quite common around here.

A pyrrhuloxiz in Maryland would be quite a stretch. It is a Juvenile Male Cardinal

I think this might be a juvenile female cardinal, but the beak color makes me uncertain. I see them being not this dark in color in other images.
