Description:

Bay Bolete mushroom. A chestnut-brown cap with small, olive-yellow pores and a reddish stalk. The bigger of the two bay boletes measured 2 inches across. Edible.

Habitat:

Appeared after a heavy rain next to a tree in a wooded area in our yard.
