Dark black,brown,and gray. Fast moving in water.

Habitat:

Usually found sitting on branches close to the water in rivers or streams.

Notes:

This snake can be mean,and it was quite mean,it bit me three times.

What an awesome snake - water snakes are one of my favorites - I've not been bitten by one yet but I have been on the receiving end of their stinky musk a few times! We do ask that you don't post photos of humans on Project Noah though, so please can you either replace this image with one of the snake on it own, or crop it so that we can't see the face. It might be a little difficult to do this on this image but do the best you can.
