Soursop Fruit

Annona muricata

Description:

In garden. This tree is about 20-25 feet high.

Habitat:

Garden

Notes:

These are young fruit. They can grow up to 15 pounds. This fruit allegedly has anti-cancer properties. This fruit is called gavano or guyabano in the Philippines. Every fruit on this tree I saw had weaver ants all over it. I suppose the fruit are oozing juice that the ants like.
