Stenobothrus lineatus
Stenobothrus lineatus is a species of grasshopper in the family Acrididae (short horn grasshoppers). It prefers arid grasslands, rocky areas, heath and limestone wasteland, but is sometimes found in more humid places: meadows, roadsides. The adults are seen from June to late October.
Meadow, alt. 1500 m
Distribution: Europe, and Asia to Mongolia , except in the more northern regions. Reported in all countries of Western Europe.
That looks good to me bayucca! I haven't found a better match so I'll update. The crazy ones are just... crazy.
Please, verify!! I am not really happy with what I all have seen of this species during googling..., very variable guy. I guess yours is the male.
