Eucalyptus

I look into it
Yep, it's a eucalyptus. Eucalyptus are defined by the type of seed cup and cap they produce. For example: E. Amygdalina, our most common tree, has an almond shaped seed cup. So, you need to look at leaf-shape, bark type, and seed heads to make an identification, A guess would that it is a type of Alpine White Gum, of which the are six different species in Tasmania alone.
