Bean Bug

Riptortus linearis

Description:

This plant-sucking bug is a species of true bug in the family Alydidae. The adult is 14 mm long and brownish. Hind femur has a row of three or four prominent spines and several smaller ones. A pale yellow spot is at the middle of posterior pronotal margin and the apex of the scutellum.

Habitat:

Roadside near rice field.
