Oenopia conglobata
A pink ladybug
found it in my room
Wow thank you ForestDragon for correcting my mistake. It's great information and it's first time I see this species. You suggestion looks 100% match to me so thanks again I will correct it.
Hi Faredin, beautiful find! I am pretty sure this is not Harmonia axyridis. They have a much rounder shape and don't come in pink (though they do come in a variety of reds, oranges and yellows).
I did a bit of research and I feel pretty confident that your Lady Beetle is Oenopia conglobata. The common name I provided is what was on Wikipedia for what they are called in Germany. I don't know what they are called in France, sorry.
If you do a Google image search for Oenopia conglobata you will find many pictures. These beetles seem to have some variety in the spotting and a bit in color but the markings on the protonum (the area right behind the head) is pretty consistent as well as the general area of the spots. Take a look and see what you think!
