A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Project Noah Nature School
Pantherophis spiloides
Five foot long ratsnake with dirt on its chin.
Found crossing dirt road.
Moved it safely off the road just as a car was coming from the opposite direction.
Thank you rams4D and Pradeep Kumar! Love my snake friends!
A wildlife center or animal control are probably good bets.
Thank you so much Lisa, I guess we need training. In that case, maybe seek help from somebody? Like wild life centre, police, animal control?
Nice shot!
Hi Hema,I have a special snake hook that I use to safely move them and for larger venomous species, I have a set of special snake tongs that I have been trained to use properly.
https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/29...upsetting and sad.
Hi Lisa, how do you move snakes?
Great picture
