Pickerel Frog

Lithobates palustris

Description:

A small bronze-colored frog with lovely spots. Very similar to Lithobates pipiens, though distinguished by more rectangular spots rather than round.

Habitat:

Found in a shallow pond surrounded by deciduous/confirous woodland.
