White with waxy coating to imitate their main prey. Mealybugs.
These appear to be feeding on some aphids on a southern pea pod.
My original ID of this spotting was that these were mealy bugs. I now believe they are a species of ladybird beetle that was imported for biological control of mealy bugs.
