Finally my number 1000 goes to this amazing caterpillar I found 2 days ago. And this is the same species I spotted in Denmark: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/378...

Merci Emilie, happy to be in Gif...I'm surprised how green and beautiful it is. Almost like living in a mountain :)

Happy 1000! and very pretty spotting chosen for it! :-)
Nice color.
Thanks staccyh! Jemma, cats? :)
wow ,you do have lovely cats here!
Congrats on your 1000th spotting Faredin! Beautiful photo.
nope, not the slightest idea of doing that! :)
I hope by saying juicy you didn't think of bitting it :)
Wunderbar! :)
but I like this colour the best, it's so juicy! :)
I took both photos during a dark day so I used flash for both so there shouldn't be much difference. I think this one was bigger and also had more color. I think they differ in color by age, they can even get some kind of red color. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buchen-Stre...
It looks like this one has more hair! :)
differences in colour are due to the lighting, not because this caterpillar is brighter, right?
In the photo this one really looks more beautiful! ;)
Sintija, thanks! This one looked more beautiful than the one I found in Denmark :)
