Hi Jemma; I took a look and in photo 2 there are three different sized birds (one being a KIlldeer) and in photo 4 there are two smaller birds. I cannot see their chests clearly, but my guess is yes they are a sandpiper. I have lots of help from Liam and Tom with my sandpiper ID, maybe you should ask them to take a look.
