Moth

Description:

Pale yellow moth with two coin-like marks on its wings. It is sitting on a vibrantly painted surface of a monastery wall (I wish he colour scheme were reversed!)

Habitat:

Monastery just beyond Ravangla; a tourist town in Sikkim, India.

Notes:

October is not a good time to spot moths and there was a cyclonic circulation which brought unseasonal rain. Yet, at this monastery we saw many different types of moths.
