Great Egret

Ardea alba

Description:

These tall, long-legged birds spend their days wading in the water. Their necks are long and curved with dart-like bills. The feathers are completely white and their bills are yellowish-orange.

Habitat:

Great Egrets are found in freshwater and saltwater. Nests are typically in high trees or on islands that are alway from predators.
