Blotched Palm-pit Viper

Bothriechis supraciliaris

Description:

Bothriechis supraciliaris, or the Blotched palm-pit viper, is a species of snake in the Viperidae family[1] that is endemic to Costa Rica. It is 50–60 centimetres (20–24 in) in length but can reach till 80 centimetres (31 in). Their body colour varies, it can be either bluish-green, reddish-brown, or reddish-maroon, but usually it is bright or moss-green.

Habitat:

Seen in the Reptile exhibition at the InBio Park in Santo Domingo, Heredia, Costa Rica.

thanks bayucca... Sweet dreams, though it's midday here in California. Left Japan yesterday, returned for my ex-mother-in-laws funeral. A wedding and a funeral in the same week!
