Yes,Marta, we were looking for organisms study for an Ichthyology class and this one was found in the water near a cay in the south coast of Puerto Rico. It was between the roots of a red mangrove. I was looking at photos of sea hares but this organisms is slightly different. Is more rectangular. I will appreciate all the help I can receive to identify this one. Thanks for your interest.

Nilda, was it in the sea? Looks to me like a type of sea hare or sea slug, but is hard to tell which one like this, out of the water..

Looks a lot like the spotted sea hare I just saw. They are found world-wide in tropical waters. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/405...
