Description:

The Green Kingfisher is 19 cm long. It has a short tail and long bill. It is oily green above, with white markings on the wings and tail, and a white collar around the neck. Males have broad chestnut breast band, white underparts and some green spotting on the flanks.

Habitat:

In the same mangroove area surrounding the lagoon were the crocodiles were spotted. Next to Manuel Antonio National Park.
