Puerto Rico Upland Gecko

Sphaerodactylus klauberi

Description:

The Upland Gecko is one of the larger-sized gecko species. It typically measures up to 5.7 inches. This one was a baby, 1 1/2 inches. I spotted it in my room curtains. Sphaerodactylus are small, ground-dwelling gecko lizards usually found under rocks, logs, leaf-litter and trash. They are crepuscular.
