Description:

Moss with sporophytes. Mosses are flowerless plants and reproduce by spores, not seeds. Spem from male antheridia swims in water to female archegonia to fertilize them. After fertilization, the sporophytes shown in first picture grow, and when mature, the capsule opens to release spores and a new cycle begins.
