Aster species

Description:

About 18-20 purple ray flowers surrounding a yellow disc. Leaves are finely toothed and hair, alternate or whorled, and clasp the stem. My first thought was Georgia Aster, but now I'm thinking either late purple or smooth aster.

Habitat:

Forest/road side
