Found while volunteering at a children's nature camp. These little guys were puddling. One on the sock of one of the children and the other on sand.
I agree that this is a skipper. I noticed you have many spottings in the unknown category (just like anyone with nearly a thousand spottings). I'd like to offer a suggestion to you. I couldn't help but notice that often times you know a common or simple name of a species but leave the name area blank. I think you would do yourself a big favor by naming as many as you can. This way, when bayucca, for example, is searching for skippers he can identify, this one will show up in his search feed. By the way, you have a wonderful collection of spottings. Thank you for sharing your world with us.
